Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our PCPs in delivering primary care. You will greet and room members, take vitals, document medical history, and assist with routine testing during appointments.

You will coordinate with clinicians, manage patient questions, and provide health coaching to promote healthy lifestyle choices. The role emphasizes compassionate care and timely communication in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• EClinical Works EMR experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members; assist PCP day-to-day.
• Take patient intake, record vital signs, interview and document medical history.
• Monitor and relay patient information to PCP, specialists, or other clinical staff.
• Perform routine first aid procedures and assist during appointments as needed.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up calls to a defined patient group.
