Job summary

Mosaic Community Health in Central Oregon seeks a Medical Assistant to join the primary care team, providing direct patient care, rooming, medication reconciliation, and support during visits. The MA may perform in-office tests (EKG, venipuncture, hearing/vision), maintain exam rooms and records, and coordinate follow-up with care teams.

CPR is required; CMA certification is preferred. Experience: High School/GED; 0–2 years or related degree may count.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or better.
• CPR certification required.
• Less than 2 years healthcare experience or related Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit chart scrub in EMR including referrals, meds, immunizations, allergies, and health maintenance.
• Medication, immunization, and allergy reconciliation.
• Room patient (in person or remote) with vitals, records, and care reconciliation.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and vaccines.
• Assist with clinical procedures.
• Review provider recommendations and AVS with patient.
• Conduct clinical services: EKG, pulse oximetry, hearing/vision testing, venipuncture.
