Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred or as required by State.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• 1+ years in an office-based setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients and collect medical history, meds, allergies, and chief complaints for entry in the medical record.
• Assist with patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Support high-quality patient experience with excellent customer service and communication.
• Prepare exams and procedures under supervision and assist physicians/APs.
• Collect and prepare specimens, administer injections/immunizations, perform venipuncture as allowed by State.
• Communicate test results and scheduling with patients; maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
