Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for an onsite outpatient clinic. You will perform clinical duties including taking vital signs, administering vaccines, phlebotomy, and documenting in the EMR. You will report to the Center Administrator and work 40 hours per week.

Qualified candidates have MA training and certification, CPR, and high school diploma; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. TB screening is required as part of the program, with a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.
• This role is patient facing and is part of the TB screening program; TB screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs.
• Medication/vaccine administration.
• Phlebotomy and collecting specimens.
• Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms.
• Documenting information into the electronic medical records system.
