Job summary

Avance Care is hiring a Medical Assistant to support a busy provider in a 12-hour shift clinic. You will escort patients, triage, administer vaccines, document data, and assist with exams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have CMA/CCMA/RMA/EMT certification and at least one year of MA experience, with a patient-centered approach and strong communication skills. Benefits begin after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Certification as CMA, CCMA, RMA or EMT required.
• Minimum of one year Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms.
• Triage patients as necessary.
• Administer vaccines and injections.
• Record patient data prior to physician visits.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies.
