Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and nurses in patient care tasks.
• Maintains patient flow and escorts patients to exam/treatment areas.
• Records vital signs, EKG, and collects specimens as needed.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms; stocks supplies and equipment.
• Completes patient charges and communicates with physicians for prescriptions.
• Trains new Medical Assistants and may handle administrative tasks.
