Job summary

Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in office and lab procedures, perform phlebotomy, injections, point-of-care testing, and handle clerical duties. You will help manage daily patient and provider flow and ensure exam rooms are prepared for visits.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and Medical Assistant certification or registry. EMR experience, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach are preferred to uphold

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification/Registration preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple BVMP locations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient and provider flow.
• Assist Physician with patient care as required.
• Prepare exam rooms and set up clinical areas.
• Follow directions from provider and leadership.
• Conduct phlebotomy and point-of-care testing as needed.
• Complete the registration process accurately.
• Document from charts and records.
• Utilize clinical and clerical skills effectively.
• Enhance patient experience and uphold BVHS values.
• Participate in process improvement where possible.
