Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in a medical office or hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists patients in the office.
• Assembles daily patient charts.
• Obtains lab and referral information for physician review.
• Prepares patients for examination and assists physicians during encounters.
• Educates patients regarding minor office procedures.
• Maintains medical records information for patient visits, referrals, insurance pre-certification and billing.
• May travel to multiple locations and work varying hours, including holidays.
• Provides friendly, confidential assistance to every patient.
