Job summary

Patterson Schlotterer Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will prepare for patient visits, assist nurses and doctors, manage supplies, and help keep charts, notes, and test results organized to support timely care.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and office experience. BLS or CMA certification is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus to serve a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
