Job summary

Marian David M D P C is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for visits by organizing charts and pulling notes, support nurses and medical staff, and help manage tests and lab reporting to keep patients informed about their status and care.

You will also help manage inventory, set up machines and testing equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and an interest in learning more about a working medical

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA desired.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
