Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will assist healthcare professionals, document patient information, and help ensure efficient patient flow while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.

The role requires 1-2 years of clinic experience, basic computer/EMR skills, and CPR certification. Training and opportunities for growth are provided in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic.
• Basic computer skills including EMR usage.
• Ability to complete and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and record vital signs.
• Perform basic testing/screenings (vision, hearing, urine screens, EKGs, PFT).
• Collect blood via phlebotomy and document lab orders.
