Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• May be asked to work at other BVMP Practices as needed.
• Ability to cross-train to other positions within the practice.
• Adherence to BVHS privacy policies and professional standards.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the patient’s age.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily patient and provider flow.
• Assist Physician with patient care as required.
• Ensure exam rooms are prepared for each visit and set up clinical areas.
• Follow directions from the provider and leadership.
• Conduct phlebotomy and point of care testing as needed.
• Accurately complete the registration process.
• Chart documentation and clerical duties.
• Uphold the organization's mission, vision and values.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
