Job summary

Community Care Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a patient-focused team. Responsibilities include preparing patients, recording vitals, assisting with procedures, and managing lab activities within the clinic.

The role requires a high school diploma and BLS certification, with certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Experience of 1 year is valued, with benefits including PTO and healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA).
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable.
• Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and maintain supplies/equipment for procedures.
• Administer injections, change dressings, and assist with wound care under provider orders.
• Collect blood, tissue and other specimens; perform in-house lab testing and log results.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA) preferred

BLS certification required
