Job summary

Community Care Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a patient-centered care team. The role includes preparing patients for visits, recording vital signs, and assisting with procedures within a clinic setting.

Responsibilities extend to room preparation, specimen collection, injections, wound care, and lab processing, with emphasis on accurate documentation in EMR and patient education.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the listed programs (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA) is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms; set up, sterilize, and maintain supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under providers orders.
• Collect blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens; log results and perform lab call-backs.
