Community Care Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a patient-focused environment with clinical tasks, lab work, injections, wound care, and documentation in the EMR. The role involves preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, and coordinating tests and follow-ups with providers.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, MA certification (preferred) with BLS, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the programs (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA) is preferred; BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatments as applicable.
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms; set up, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies/equipment for procedures.
• Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound management under provider orders.
• Collect blood, tissue, and other lab specimens; log results and perform lab call-backs.
• Document basic patient care and procedures in EMR; schedule tests and follow-ups.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment and medication instructions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Phlebotomy duties.
• Perform opening/closing clinic duties and patient callbacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
