Qualificações

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant cert preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and patient communication tools.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and perform accurate patient intake, including vital signs and medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits and procedures.
• Assist with ENT procedures under physician supervision, including ear tube placement, nasal cauterization, biopsies, inner ear injections, and in-office sinus procedures.
• Provide discharge instructions, medications, and educational materials to patients, ensuring understanding of care plans.
• Respond to patient messages, manage patient portal communications, and assist with appointment scheduling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, equipment, and clinical work areas.
• Follow infection control protocols, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
