Job summary

Valley Health Partners Community Health Center in Allentown, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Center for Women's Medicine. You will assist with patient intake, prepare examination rooms, collect specimens, and support clinicians under supervision of LPN/RN or provider.

Responsibilities include performing routine lab tasks, entering data into electronic records, and handling front desk duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant / Administrative Medical Program; active CPR certification required.
• Preference for an Associate degree in MA or Healthcare Administration; CMA certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred; 1–2 years physician office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake duties, escort patients to exam rooms, and record vitals and medical history.
• Maintain courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients and staff.
• Adjust to peak patient flow while maintaining quality and safety.
