Premise Health, Modesto, CA, is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support client employees and dependents in our Health Center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Externship-ready certification and BLS are required.

You will take vitals, maintain records, prep rooms, assist with injections and labs, and handle front-desk tasks. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Formación

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or a certificate/diploma from an accredited program with externship.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers.
• State Lab Certificate (NV only) or CMA certification from recognized bodies.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height).
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Administers medications including injections, performs lab tests, EKGs and other diagnostics as allowed by regulations.
• Performs administrative tasks at the front desk, schedules appointments and orders supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
