Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant in Modesto, CA, to care for employees and dependents in a health center. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with duties ranging from clinical tasks to front-desk support.

The candidate should hold CMA certification or an approved MA program with externship, and possess BLS. Prior MA experience is preferred. Premise offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifikationen

• CMA certification is required by major certifying bodies.
• Hands-on externship completed during MA training.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Aufgaben

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Maintains patient health records to ensure up-to-date information.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Administers medications including injections and performs EKGs and labs as permitted by regulations.
• Performs administrative tasks, front-desk support, appointment scheduling, follow-up calls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
