Job summary

Golden Valley Health Centers invites a Medical Assistant to join the Paradise Family Medicine Clinic in Modesto, CA. The MA will perform nursing procedures and patient registration under the Clinic Supervisor, supporting high-quality patient care in a busy primary care setting.

Schedule requires Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with overtime as needed. Applicants should have a High School Diploma and a Medical Assisting certificate, plus current BLS CPR certification and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Medical Assisting certificate required.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork with the care team.
• Performs nursing procedures and patient registration tasks within scope of practice.
• Coordinates with BOS, providers, and leadership to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Collects patient data for vital signs and medical history.
• Assists in exams, injections, specimen collection, and basic in-house tests.
• Maintains clean and safe patient areas and supports continuous improvement.
