Job summary

Wellington Physicians Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care and examinations. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, and perform venipuncture under supervision, within state practice scope.

The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting at the front desk, and handling general procedures. Travel to other facilities may be required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Will perform patient care duties under physician direction.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, venipuncture as directed.

Responsibilities

• Document in Electronic Medical Records per MPA guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Assist at front desk as needed.
• Perform general medical procedures.
• Understand end-of-day cash balancing and charge reconciliations.
• Willing to travel to other facilities as needed.
