Job summary

TexomaCare in Denison, TX, is hiring a Medical Assistant (BONHAM, TX) to support physicians and care teams across family medicine and specialties. You will interview patients, take vitals, perform venipuncture, and document in EMR per IPM guidelines.

The role requires completing a Medical Assistant certificate or relevant experience, and being able to assist at the front desk as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or one year of experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in/check-out per clinic protocol.
• End-of-day cash balancing and charge reconciliation knowledge.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs like Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temp, BP, weight, height).
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Document in EMR according to IPM guidelines.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist at front desk as needed.
