BayCare in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Basic Machine Operator dedicated to patient-centered care. The role supports providers during examinations, handles routine labs, and maintains patient records in the EMR system.

The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma (GED acceptable) and a Florida BMO certification, with a preference for those with Medical Assistant training and 2 years of experience. This is a full-time on-site position offering benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO) certification.
• Preferred 2 years as Medical Assistant.
• High School or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and x-ray/imaging.
• Handle patient histories and routine lab procedures; prepare specimens for transport.
• Follow up on test orders; report results to provider and patient; provide patient education materials.
