• Schedules, messages providers, handles medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Completes referrals and other clerical duties as assigned.
• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Maintains EMR documentation and handles in-basket management.
• Communicates with patients in a respectful and caring manner.
• Supports quality, safety and efficiency initiatives and training of new staff.
