Job summary

Neurotucson is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and perform clerical tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will help manage patient flow, collect vitals, and prepare patients for examinations under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and at least one year of medical facility experience; certification as a medical assistant is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: medical assistant certification from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfils patient care responsibilities for assigned physician and/or other areas as needed.
• Checks schedules and organizes patient flow; ensures pre-visit information is completed.
• Coordinates appointments for care and diagnostic procedures.
