Summit Medical Group in Rye, NY is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs with patient care, clerical duties and procedures. The role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate vital signs, and up-to-date documentation in the EHR.

Responsibilities include room preparation, appointment scheduling, order entry, and coordinating referrals. Requires a high school diploma, MA/Phlebotomy program completion, BLS, and English proficiency.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program, required.
• 0-1 year related work experience, required; 2-4 years preferred.
• BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire) required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.

Mansioni

• Prepares the examination room and escorts the patient into the room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.
• Documents vitals, allergies, and medication lists in the EHR.
• Schedules appointments and enters orders in PMS and EHR.
• Provides referrals and consult orders in a timely manner.
• Adheres to safety precautions and maintains supplies.
