The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a NJ medical assisting program with 330 hours, and CMA certification within 180 days.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• NJ-specific: medical assisting program with 330 hours and IM/subcutaneous injections training.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
• Familiarity with customer communication practices and healthcare equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and verify proper identification.
• Perform and document vital signs and basic clinical data.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures including EKG and venipuncture.
• Maintain and document clinical supplies and equipment inventory.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
