Job summary

Cape Cod Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support multiple clinical teams at locations in Hyannis, Sandwich and Falmouth. The role includes direct patient care, administrative tasks, and frontline patient interaction.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and may have Medical Assistant certification, CNA, or ATC credentials. Ability to handle equipment setup and assist with injections is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification optional; CNA or ATC accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coverage as needed for different clinical teams (direct patient care and/or administrative).
• Act as first contact with patients in clinical areas.
• Obtain and input (via EHR) medical histories, vitals, medications and Meaningful Use Information (MIP).
• Set up injections, assist with injections, if required.
• Field, triage and address patient calls.
• Daily maintenance of exam rooms stock, biohazard bins & sharps containers.
• Complete other duties assigned by providers and Clinical Manager.
