Job summary

Premise Health in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to provide patient care at our Health Center. You will interview patients, take vitals, maintain records, prepare rooms, and support clinical and front-desk operations.

The role requires MA certification with externship and current BLS (AHA/ARC). We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Must hold national MA certification or an accredited MA program externship completed.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and record vital signs.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms; sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications including injections and run lab tests.
• Operate EKG and other diagnostic equipment as allowed by state law.
• Assist at front desk, schedule appointments, and order supplies.
