Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support our Joliet Health Center. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, maintain health records, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with front-desk tasks and scheduling.

Requires CMA certification and current CPR/BLS; hands-on externship preferred; state regulations govern EKGs and diagnostics. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• National CMA certification or equivalent medical assistant program with hands-on externship.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS/CPR) required.
• Ability to follow state regulations for diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs.
• Maintains patient health records and ensures accuracy.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Administers medications and performs limited diagnostic procedures as permitted.
• Performs administrative tasks and supports front desk activities.
