Job summary

ALXMH LLC in Michigan is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by preparing charts before arrival, provide routine support alongside medical staff, and assist with keeping track of tests and lab reporting while keeping the patient informed about their condition and care.

You will also help manage inventory of medical supplies, set up machines and testing equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA is desired.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including prepping patient charts as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Input lab orders, manage lab supplies, and handle basic medical office duties.
