The Hughston Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in the clinic, document encounters, and help maintain smooth patient flow. You will transcribe histories, enter orders into the EMR, and assist with minor procedures and DME device handling.

Experience in healthcare and HIPAA knowledge are required, with CMA preferred. A valid driver’s license and insurance are also required for onboarding. The role may involve irregular hours and on-site work in Augusta, GA.

Competenze

• One year of healthcare experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA preferred.

• Able to work independently and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

• Transcribe patient histories and exams into EMR per physician dictation.
• Enter tests and procedures ordered by provider and review charts.
• Document patient information in EMR per physician notes.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and DME device instructions.
