Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses, ensuring smooth patient flow, clean and safe exam rooms, and friendly patient interactions. You will assist with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection, and basic tests under provider direction.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED with certification in CMA/CCMA/NCMA or be eligible within six months, and have 0–2 years of relevant experience along with solid computer skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification in CMA/CCMA/NCMA or eligible within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assure efficient patient flow through the site: escort patients, verify identity, obtain vital signs, document visit details, inform providers of changes.
• Assist practitioner with ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived tests as directed.
