TexomaCare, affiliated with Universal Health Services, seeks a Medical Assistant in Durant, Oklahoma. You will assist physicians with examinations, interview patients, record vital signs, and perform venipuncture as directed, ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR per IPM guidelines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, current BLS/CPR certification, and MA certification or equivalent experience. Familiarity with medical terminology and front desk support is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or one year of MA experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with patient check-in and check-out according to clinic protocol.

Aufgaben

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician supervision.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, BP, weight, height).
• Perform venipuncture and other procedures as directed.
• Document in Electronic Medical Record per IPM guidelines.
