Qualifications

• MA certification or CNA/EMT/Phlebotomy certs preferred.
• 0–1 year related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term empathetic relationships with patients, families and colleagues to support patient care.
• Facilitate patient flow during visits and inform about delays promptly.
• Perform medical assisting duties under supervision (vital signs, phlebotomy, immunizations, etc.).
• Document tasks in the EHR for proper billing and care coordination.
• Schedule tests and verify insurance, prior authorizations, and referrals.
• Support population health efforts through outreach and health coaching.
