Job summary

Generations Family Health Center is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant in Putnam, CT. This entry-level position requires certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant, CNA, or EMT. Responsibilities include assisting with patient flow, cleaning medical equipment, and maintaining records. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited clinical medical assistant, CNA, or EMT program.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of patient flow, and prepare patients for examination.
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment.
• Document testing and medications in compliance.
• Perform administrative functions, including filing lab reports.
