Generations Family Health Center, Inc. seeks an entry-level Medical Assistant (CNA or EMT welcome) to join the Willimantic, CT team. This full-time position supports patient flow, exam preparation, and basic clinical tasks at the GEN Willimantic site.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program or a CNA/EMT certification, BLS/CPR, and a willingness to work day shifts. Generations offers strong benefits and growth opportunities in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited clinical medical assistant program, certified nursing assistant program, or EMT program
• For MA graduate, CMA/AAMA certification preferred and primary care experience preferred
• For CNA, Connecticut CNA certification and at least 1 year of clinical work experience required
• For EMT, Connecticut EMT certification and at least 6 months of clinical work experience required
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at applicable sites based on patient population

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of patient flow and preparation for examination and procedures
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment and inventory management
• Document waived testing and controls and medications in accordance with agency protocols
• Perform some administrative tasks such as filing lab reports
• Other duties as assigned
