Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Princeton office. The role supports physicians in dermatology, cosmetic, and laser procedures, performing clinical, medical, and clerical tasks with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort. Prior healthcare experience is required.

You will work < 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Proficiency with EMR, MS Word/Excel/Outlook, and strong communication are essential. Competitive hourly pay and employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms before/after patients and check equipment at shift start.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Daily scan retail and cosmetic products and alert on low supplies.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.

Job Summary

Part-Time Medical Assistant at our Princeton Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule: Part time, less than 30 hours per week. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications

Hourly Pay Range: $18 - $22
