Schweiger is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Freehold Office. You will perform high-quality clinical and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting, with prior healthcare experience required.

Schedule is part-time (<30 hours/week) with weekday availability and rotating Saturdays within 7:00am–7:00pm. You will assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures and ensure smooth patient flow.

Competenze

• Healthcare experience required.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and scheduling systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Available to work weekdays and weekends.

• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and prior authorizations.

• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA or GM of low supplies.

Job Summary

Part-Time Medical Assistant at our Freehold Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule

Part time, less than 30 hours per week. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Medical Assistant

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred
• Healthcare experience required
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends

Hourly Pay Range: $18 - $22
