Schweiger is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our East Windsor Office to support dermatology services with clinical and clerical tasks. The role requires prior healthcare experience and a Certified Medical Assistant credential is preferred.

You will assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, manage patient flow, and handle room prep, supplies, and documentation. Flexibility for weekdays and some Saturdays is needed.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere to patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, prescriptions, and procedures within guidelines.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider steps.
• Prep rooms before and after patients and ensure equipment works.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Scan retail and cosmetic products and alert on low supplies.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.

Job Summary

Part-Time Medical Assistant at our East Windsor Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule

Part time, less than 30 hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Medical Assistant

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred

• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends

Hourly Pay Range

$18 - $22
