Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in East Windsor is hiring a Part-Time Medical Assistant to support dermatology, cosmetic, and laser procedures. You will assist physicians, document treatments, and manage patient flow while maintaining a welcoming clinic environment.

Weekday availability with rotating Saturdays within 7:00am–7:00pm. The role requires healthcare experience and EMR proficiency, with the potential for advancement as part of a leading national dermatology practice.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• National CMA preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and scheduling systems.
• Proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Open availability weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere to enhance patient care.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions and authorizations per guidelines.
• Understand patient flow and anticipate provider steps.
• Prep rooms and ensure equipment is functional at shift start.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Scan inventory and alert leadership of low supplies.
• Attend training and continued education opportunities.

Job Summary: Part-Time Medical Assistant at our East Windsor Office.

Schedule: Part time, less than 30 hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Medical Assistant Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s)
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps to the best of their ability
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications:

• Dermatology experience preferred
• Healthcare experience required
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends

Hourly Pay Range: $18 - $22
