Mays & Schnapp Neurospine and Pain is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support triage operations and clinical workflows in our Pain Management Clinic and Surgery Procedure Center.

The role involves patient communication, coordinating care with providers, and assisting with day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. Prior pain clinic or neurology experience and familiarity with eClinicalWorks are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in pain management, neurology, orthopedics, spine, or specialty clinics preferred.
• Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Triage patient concerns and respond to voicemails and encounters in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient care with providers, nurses, pharmacies, imaging facilities and outside organizations.
• Document all patient communications accurately in the EMR and provide treatment instructions.
• Perform patient intake and update medical records efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with orders, referrals, imaging, medications, and other provider workflows.
