Job summary

UW Health Belvidere Hospital in Belvidere, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant for a 100% FTE role, scheduled Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm at 1625 S State St, Belvidere, IL. The position supports clinic operations and patient flow.

Qualifications include an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program or at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus HS diploma or equivalent. Certification in CPR/BLS and RMA/AAMA/CCMA/NCCT is preferred and must be maintained.

• At least 1 year of professional clinic experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, you will work at UW Health Belvidere Hospital 1625 S State St Belvidere IL

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
