Job summary

Chapters Health in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our PACE team. You will work closely with CNAs, nurses, and providers to deliver patient-centered care and maintain accurate medical records.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with benefits from day one. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, Medical Assistant and BLS certifications, and be comfortable in a team-based care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification and BLS required.
• Experience with frail elderly/long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, and providers to meet patient care needs.
• Perform admin duties: scheduling, transportation, data entry, phones, supplies.
• Coordinate with outside providers and conduct clinical tasks as directed.
• Document patient data and treatments per policy.
• Assist with transfers and follow-up care scheduling.
• Schedule tests and communicate with patients about appointments.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality initiatives.
