Job summary

Foundation Medical Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across in-person, phone, and telehealth settings under provider supervision. You will administer medications, perform point-of-care testing, and help maintain complete medical records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assisting program and clinical externship required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; certification/registration by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical medical assistant experience (3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office workflow.
• Strong interpersonal communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and work as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy; Epic EMR experience preferred.

The clinical float pool includes Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Medical Assistants (MA), who provide interim coverage of staffing needs on a short-term basis across multiple sites. Float pool staff perform a variety of clinical functions in any of our family practices at multiple sites across Southern New Hampshire.

About the Job

The Medical Assistant performs delegated clinical and administrative functions in the care of patients under the direct supervision of a provider and practice manager. This role supports patient care in person, via telephone, and through telehealth modalities, ensuring adherence to professional standards and state regulations.

Work Shift

• First Shift (Start & End times may vary based on assignment)
• Full-time: 30-40 hours
• Part-time: 20-29 hours
• Per Diem: Variable, 1- 2 shifts per month
