Job summary

Artesia General Hospital is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Orthopaedic Clinic in Artesia, NM. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will perform basic patient care and clerical tasks while contributing to a positive clinic flow.

Your responsibilities include taking vitals, bedside testing, basic nursing procedures, room and equipment upkeep, supply management, and assisting with daily clinic operations to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Formal nursing assistant and/or medical assistant training required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vitals.
• Perform bedside testing and basic nursing procedures.
