Artesia General Hospital in Artesia, NM is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our patient-care team. Under the direction of an RN/LPN, you will perform basic patient care activities and support routine clinic operations.

Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting vitals, bedside testing, basic nursing procedures, maintaining clean exam rooms, stocking supplies, and performing light clerical duties.

Competenze

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent; plus specialized, short-term training in basic patient care.
• Work Experience – clinic setting preferred.
• Training – Formal nursing assistant and/or medical assistant training required.
• License/Certification – Certification in Nurse Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting preferred.

Mansioni

• Obtain and document patient vitals.
• Perform bedside testing.
• Perform basic nursing procedures as described (oral care, perineal/foley care, non-sterile soaks, or thermal applications).
• Ensure cleanliness of office and examination rooms.
• Clean and store equipment.
• Maintain supply inventory and re-stock as required.
• Perform basic clerical duties as needed.
