Job summary

SynergenX is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. This entry‑level role includes two weeks of paid training to learn our processes, tools, and clinic workflows in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment.

The role emphasizes hands‑on clinical experience, teamwork, and the opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization while building essential skills in phlebotomy, injections, vitals, and basic lab duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; physical documentation required.
  • Minimum of 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR documented completion of 180 externship hours.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check; strong work ethic and commitment to patient care.
  • Must be flexible with clinic hours, including occasional late hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual patient vital signs.
  • Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture.
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper quality control procedures.
  • Document and maintain accurate lab results and records.
  • Run in-house laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside facilities.
  • Ensure appropriate labs are ordered and prepared for each patient.
  • Complete weekly inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical and administrative teams.
  • Assist with front desk responsibilities when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate patient care.

What You'll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every patient.

Clinic Hours
  • Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
