SynergenX Health is seeking energetic Medical Assistants for a Full-Time role at our Knoxville clinics. No certification required to apply, with two weeks of paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 months of relevant medical experience or completion of a 180-hour externship.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
  • Flexible availability including some evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Take and document vital signs.
  • Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture.
  • Administer injections as directed by the provider.
  • Run in-house lab testing and prepare specimens.
  • Maintain lab equipment and QC checks.
  • Document patient information accurately.
  • Prepare rooms and supplies for visits.
  • Maintain inventory and organize supplies.
  • Support front desk operations when needed.
  • Build positive relationships with patients and teammates.
  • Help the clinic have a successful day.

Medical Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly with patients and providers while helping keep the clinic running smoothly.

  • Taking and documenting manual vital signs
  • Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
  • Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
  • Running in-house laboratory testing and preparing specimens for outside laboratories
  • Maintaining lab equipment and completing required quality-control checks
  • Accurately documenting patient information
  • Preparing rooms and supplies for patient visits
  • Maintaining inventory and organizing medical supplies
  • Supporting front desk operations when needed
  • Building positive relationships with patients, providers, and teammates
  • Jumping in where needed to help the clinic have a successful day

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 3 months of relevant medical experience involving skills such as phlebotomy, injections, or vitals OR completion of a 180-hour Medical Assistant externship
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Flexible availability based on clinic needs, including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Must successfully complete a routine criminal background check

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.

Experience Performing Venipuncture And Injections Is Highly Preferred.

  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
