Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care across our clinics. This onsite, full-time role involves assisting providers, taking vitals, performing venipuncture and injections, processing lab tasks, and helping at the front desk to keep visits running smoothly.

No MA certification is required initially; two weeks of paid hands-on training will help you learn clinic processes and build confidence.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.

• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different clinic teams and workflows.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Clinic operating hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

Saturday Availability: Must be available to work 2 to 3 Saturdays per month.

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift and record all time worked.
